1. Choose a Font |

| I have chosen the following fonts for this run. If you would like a custom font, I can use any that are available for desktop publishing for an additional charge. It is also possible to use other glyphs and symbols - contact me about a special order!. | |||||||||||
| BOOK ANTIQUA | This is a simple serif font that has a formal feel to it. | ||||||||||
| LUCIDA HANDWRITING | A less formal script font. | ||||||||||
| MATIsSe | This is my favorite, it is fun comic font. | ||||||||||
| The example font sheets provided above contain 3 columns of 8 letters. When printed on an 8 1/5 X 11 sheet of paper they are close to the actual size on the Cryptex Tantalus. The center column illustrates a keyword to give you some idea of what it will look like. | |||||||||||
2. Choose a Code Word |

| There are a total of 128 facets on the Cryptex. To open the Cryptex you must choose one of sixteen letters for each of the eight positions (rings). This means that there are 16^8 or 4,294,967,296 possible codes on the Cryptex.
I suggest finding an 8 letter word or combination of letters to use for a keyword or code, but numbers or blanks may also be used in your code. Take your time in choosing a code word, your Cryptex Tantalus is a quality piece that is made to last several lifetimes! If you need more time to think of a code word, let me know and I'll contact you in a few days. |

3. Pay for Your Cryptex Tantalus |

Price & Deposit The price for each Cryptex Tantalus is $525 + $25 shipping. For your convenience, you may pay in either one or two payments. If you choose two payments, half ($275) is due when you place the order and the remainder ($250+ shipping if applicable) is due when I am ready to key your Tantalus. I will contact you to make arrangements at that point. Some people prefer to just pay the full amount when they order - the choice is yours. Method of Payment I accept personal checks, PayPal and credit cards (through PayPal). I perfer personal checks but credit cards / PayPal can be more expedient for a rushed order. I will confirm your order upon receiving payment so be sure to provide correct contact information! Use one of the two forms below (deposit or full payment) or mail a check to the address that follows. If you need time for your code word leave it as "send later" |
